What Is Prestige In MCOC?
Prestige is the average base Hero Rating of your 5 strongest champions. Kabam uses this number behind the scenes to decide how difficult your Alliance Quest and Alliance War maps will be. A higher prestige means tougher AI opponents, but it also means bigger point payouts and better milestone rewards for your alliance.
There are two versions of this number that summoners talk about.
Individual Prestige
This is your personal number. It is the average Hero Rating of your top 5 champions by rating, not by rank or star level. A maxed out 6 star can easily beat a barely ranked 7 star here, so it pays to actually check the numbers instead of guessing.
Alliance Prestige
This is the average of every member's Individual Prestige, added up across the whole alliance. It decides how hard your AQ map hits and how strong your AW defenders and attackers face off against. How Is MCOC Prestige Calculated?

- Signature Level. Pushing a champion's signature ability from level 0 to level 200 steadily raises the Hero Rating, and in turn, the prestige.
One thing trips up a lot of players. Mastery points do not count toward prestige. Your in game Power Rating can look inflated once you load up masteries, but the game only uses your champion's base rating, before mastery bonuses, to work out prestige. How To Increase Your Prestige Fast
- Rank up your strongest champions first. Since only your top 5 champions count, spend resources on champions that are already near the top of your roster rather than spreading thin.
- Push signature levels on your best champions. Sig stones on a top 5 champion move your prestige more than ranking up a champion that will not crack your top 5 anyway.
