Our Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) Tier List will guide you to upgrade best champs in the game.

Reading the tiers:
- S+ (All time Best) → Top picks, must have
- S (Beyond God) → Excellent champions
- A (God Tier) → Very strong, highly recommended
- B (Demi God) → Good, worth ranking up
- C (Mid Tier) → Average, use only if needed
- D (Bottom) → Avoid ranking up
- E (Trash) → Not recommended

1. What is a tier list in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC)?
- MCOC tier list ranks every champion from best to worst based on their stats, abilities, and synergies. Top tier champs (the MCOC Best Champs) can clear 70–80% of game content easily and finish fights fast in AQ, AW, Story Quest, Event Quest, Special Quest, and Variants. Trash tier champs (also called Meme Tier) struggle to clear content because they lack good damage, utility, or sustainability.
- Kabam keeps buffing weaker champions to make them playable again. Champs that recently got a balanced buff include: Magneto (Both), Venom, Spider-Gwen, She-Hulk, Luke Cage, Red Hulk, Carnage, Punisher 2099, Falcon, Gambit, Ultron, Diablo, Mole Man, Kingpin, Venompool, Angela, Nebula, Thor Ragnarok, Crossbones, Odin, Bishop, Hawkeye, Spider-Man (MM), King Groot, Black Panther, Joe Fixit, Vulture, HTD, The Hood, Masacre, Mr. Fantastic, Karnak, War Machine, Terrax, Ebony Maw, Ronin, Civil Warrior, Guillotine, Yellow Jacket, Nova, Psycho-Man, Gamora, Mordo, Storm, Yondu, Deadpool X-Force, Thor (Jane Foster), Juggernaut, Ant-Man, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Man (IW), Hulk, Spider-Man (Classic), Iceman, Wiccan, Gorr, Shuri, Attuma, Mantis, Viv Vision, Shocker, Sandman, and many more.
2. What is the offense (attack) tier list in MCOC?
The offense tier list ranks the best attacker champs for your personal game progress. Champions are placed in tiers based on three things: utility (immunities, power control, and ability accuracy), damage (hard hitters), and sustainability (regeneration and perfect block).
3. What is the defense tier list in MCOC?
The defense tier list ranks the best defender champs for Alliance War. Champions are rated on defensive abilities like crit/damage resistance, physical and energy resistance, evade, auto-block, unblockable hits, unstoppable, miss attacks, power gain, and damage-over-time debuffs. These champs are placed as defenders in Alliance War. Without strong defenders, your alliance can't progress. For AW defense tactics and placement strategy.
4. Who is this MCOC tier list for?
This MCOC tier list is made for every type of player, but it helps new players the most — those who started in the last 1–3 months and don't yet know the MCOC Best Champs for attack and defense. It also helps returning players who took a break for 2–3 years and missed the newer champions. The MCOC GUIDE BLOG tier list guides you on which champions to rank up, awaken, or invest signature stones in.
5. Which tier should I avoid in MCOC?
You should avoid ranking up champions from the Bottom Tier and Trash Tier, since they usually need a rework or buff from Kabam. Check the attack list and the defense list first and avoid the weak champs based on your need. If you play Alliance War, you can still rank up Mid Tier and Low Tier champs for diversity points.
6. Can you play Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) on a PC or laptop?
Yes. MCOC is officially available on Android, iOS and PC devices.
Do not use any third-party tool or emulator that isn't official. It can get your account temporarily or permanently banned under Kabam's policy.
7. Who created the first MCOC tier list?
- Seatin - Seatin is the most popular MCOC YouTuber, and his channel name is Seatin Man of Legends. He is famous for Seatin Tier List, New Champs Gameplay and Crystal Opening on the YouTube.
- Lagacy - Lagacy is also the most popular MCOC YouTuber + Part of the MCOC Content Creator Team, As well as 1st New York COMIC-CON Contest Winner.
8. Is the MCOC GUIDE BLOG copying Vega's, Lagacy's, or Seatin's tier list?
No, absolutely not. The MCOC GUIDE BLOG tier list is not copied from Vega, Lagacy, or Seatin. It is my own personal opinion based on 10+ years of real gameplay experience. CaptainRaghu (in-game ID).Final thoughts on "MCoC Tier List July 2026":
The top of this mcoc tier list the Beyond God Tier and God Tier champions are the best champs in the game right now. Whether you need strong attackers for offense or solid defenders for Alliance War and Battle Grounds, these champions will help you make fast progress. They are also a great pick for your Best Champions Ranked 2026 plans.
One tip: Some Alliances rank up Bottom tier or Mid tier champs on purpose to manage diversity points in Alliance War. So always rank up champs based on what your alliance needs.

Hey I feel you have missed some champions in defense list like captain America iw. And also can u do a seatin style spreadsheet? Like very detailed spreadsheets, that would be of a great help, especially for the defence tier list. Other than that your blog is a perfect guide for a mcoc player.

Imp Note: Keep your Mobile on Auto Rotate for better view And for perfect view you can select "desktop site" mode from your mobile browser. This option is available in Chrome Browser; Just click on the right corner of 3 dots and you will see that "Desktop Site" option.
Okay, I think this is where I can comment about the tier list... First of all, this page has been invaluable to me as I am now able to focus my resources on leveling up those champions with more potential. So thank you for making it and taking the time to update it, It must require lots of time and effort.

You are labeling a lot of these characters as doing especially well if awakened or with their synergies etc. If you label a character as god tier and also note that they have awesome signature abilities that should be awakened, for instance, would such a character still be god-tier in your estimation even if not awakened? Or would they be of a lower tier, and not god-tier, until their sig ability is awakened? Likewise with synergy, would characters with an S still be in that same tier even if you've none of the other characters with which to activate their synergies?

1. If Red Hulk in your Team - Heavy Attacks inflict an Incinerate that deals damage equal to that Heavy Attack’s damage over 2 second(s).
2. If Masacre in your Team - Debuffs last 1 second(s) longer. (Parry - Long stun duraion. Good on Limber node)

Here is your Answer - Keep Proxima Midnight in your team as a synergy partner. With this, Nebula will start the fight with 10 Amp Charges. This will help you in WAR to finish fight quickly. Make sure her 20 Amp Charges are ready then Parry + SP2 = 💥🔥

Now you can see chart at the end of Webpage.
I gotta say, I like for at of the old list better. It showed who needed awakened, synergy, pro skill etc.

ReplyDeleteHey Buddy, Thanks for the feedback. In this MCoC Tier List Article * (Star) denotes Signature And Numbers Denotes Level. For 4 star champions maximum sig level is 99 and for 5/6/7 star champions maximum sig level is 200.
