Hello Friends, Are you a fan of the Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) mobile game? If so, you're probably familiar with the concept of character tiers - the ranking system that determines the strength and viability of each champion.
In this article I'm going to cover my thoughts on the mcoc tier list (Offense + Defense) including Beyond God Tier, God Tier, Demi God Tier, Mid Tier, Low Tier and Bottom Tier Champs. Our Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) Tier List will guide you to upgrade best champs in the game.

Please Note: I haven't tested any Deathless or Stellar-forged champs, which is why they aren't included in the tier list below.

🗒️ How to Use This MCOC Tier List
By default, the Science class and Attack tier list is loaded when you open this page.
To check a different class:
Click any class tab — Science, Skill, Mutant, Tech, Cosmic or Mystic. The tier list will instantly update for that class.
To switch between Attack and Defense:
Click ⚔️ Attack to see the best offensive champions, or 🛡️ Defense to see the best defensive champions for Alliance War placement.
Reading the tiers:
- S+ (All time Best) → Top picks, must have
- S (Beyond God) → Excellent champions
- A (God Tier) → Very strong, highly recommended
- B (Demi God) → Good, worth ranking up
- C (Mid Tier) → Average, use only if needed
- D (Bottom) → Avoid ranking up
- E (Trash) → Not recommended
This list is updated every month.

What is the Tier List in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC)?
In the Marvel Contest of Champions Mobile Game All characters have different stats, abilities and synergy.- There are some champs in Top Tier; with the help of them, we can clear 70% to 80% content in-game easily, called them MCOC Best Champs And these champions are really taking very few hits to finish the fight quickly in AQ, AW, Story Quest, Event Quest, Special Quest, Variant Quest etc...
- There are some champs in Bottom Tier (Some people called them Meme Tier or Meh Tier Champs) who have basically 0% chance of clearing certain content because they lack the required utility. They are not so good at the point of Damage, Utility or Sustainability.
- Kabam | MCOC Team is working on such champions who are really suffering from a lack of abilities for the last few months. They are adding new buffs on them (tune-up), which enhanced champ's ability and made them playable for each content format.
- List of some Bottom Tier champs who got balanced buff recently: Magneto (Both), Venom, Spider Gwen, She Hulk, Luke Cage, Red Hulk, Carnage, Punisher 2099, Falcon, Gambit, Ultron, Diablo, Mole Man, Kingpin, Venompool, Angela, Nebula, Thor Ragnarok, Crossbones, Odin, Bishop, Hawkeye, Spider Man (MM), King Groot, Black Panther, Joe Fixit, Vulture, HTD, The Hood, Masacre, Mr. Fantastic, Karnak, War Machine, Terrax, Ebony Maw, Ronin, Civil Warrior, Guillotine, Yellow Jacket, Nova, Psycho Man, Gamora, Mordo, Storm, Yondu and Deadpool X-Force, Thor (Jane Foster), Juggernaut, Ant-Man, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Man (IW), Hulk, Spider Man (Classic), Iceman, Wiccan, Gorr, Shuri, Attuma, Mantis, Viv Vision, Shocker, Sandman.
What is Offense (Attack) Tier List in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC)
This list is totally based on Attacker Champs and useful for personal progress in the Game. Here MCOC Characters are divided into Top Tier Champs and Bottom Tier based on Utility (Immune, Power Control Control & Ability Accuracy Champions), Damage (Hard Hitter Champions), Sustainability (Regeneration & Perfect Block Champions).
What is Defense Tier List in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC)
This list is totally based on Defender Champs and useful for Alliance progress, including you, If you are in Alliance. Here also MCOC Characters are divided into Top Tier Champs and Bottom Tier Champs based on abilities, which includes Crit Hit/Damage Resistance, Physical & Energy Resistance, Evade, Auto Block, Unblockable Hits/Special Attack, Unstoppable, Miss Attack, Power Gain, Champs who Apply Damage Over Time Debuffs. These list characters are basically used as Defenders in the Alliance War. Without them, your Alliance cannot do progress in alliance war. Who is the MCOC tier list for?
With this Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) Tier List I'm trying to cover a few types of players, but mostly this will be more helpful to new players who just downloaded and started playing this game or have been playing for the last 1-3 months continuously and don't have an idea about which are the MCOC Best Champs or Top Tier Champs for Offense (Attack) and Defense.
➥ The second thing is that this Contest of Champions Tier List will also help those players who have been playing for the last 2-3 years but not continuously, So they don't have an idea about which playable characters KABAM released in the past. MCOC GUIDE BLOG Tier List will also assist them in upgrading or awakening their champions, as well as guiding them on which champions require more signature stones.
Which tier should I avoid?
You should avoid champions from the Bottom Tier. But before avoiding any champions, keep in mind that I have shared 2 tier lists below.
➥ The first is the offense, also known as the attack list, and the second is the defense, also known as the defender list. So as per your needs, like attack or defense you can avoid those particular champions in-game. Basically, the bottom tier list needs a rework or buff and KABAM is working on it.
➥ You can consider Mid Tier List and Low Tier List Champions too for Diversity purposes, but only if you are playing Alliance War.
Can we play Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) on Desktop/Laptop?
➥ Yes. MCOC is available on Android, iOS and PC devices.
Don't try any 3rd party tool to run this game. Result will be Temporary or Permanent BAN as per their policy.
So MCOC GUIDE Blog is Copying Lagacy or Seatin Tier List?
No, absolutely not. MCOC GUIDE Blog is not copying Lagacy or Seatin Tier List. This is my Personal Opinion based on my own experience. Imp Note :
- I wrote this article for a helping purpose. So, don’t make a copy of this and republish it on your blog or website. Otherwise, be ready for a copyright strike.
- I made this list based on my own experience for my blog viewers. So, don’t compare it with MCOC Seatin's Tier List or Lagacy's Tier List.
Final thoughts on "MCoC Tier List June 2026":
- Best of the Best Tier List, including Beyond-God Tier and God Tier Champions; you can call them MCoC Best Champs. From offense (the best attackers) to defense (the best defenders), champions will help you make good progress in-game. Also, you can consider them for Best Champions Ranked 2026. Some alliances are maxing out bottom-tier champs just to take advantage of the alliance war to manage diversity points. So rank up these champs as per alliance needs.

Hey I feel you have missed some champions in defense list like captain America iw. And also can u do a seatin style spreadsheet? Like very detailed spreadsheets, that would be of a great help, especially for the defence tier list. Other than that your blog is a perfect guide for a mcoc player.

Imp Note: Keep your Mobile on Auto Rotate for better view And for perfect view you can select "desktop site" mode from your mobile browser. This option is available in Chrome Browser; Just click on the right corner of 3 dots and you will see that "Desktop Site" option.
Okay, I think this is where I can comment about the tier list... First of all, this page has been invaluable to me as I am now able to focus my resources on leveling up those champions with more potential. So thank you for making it and taking the time to update it, It must require lots of time and effort.
ReplyDeleteBut I had an important question for you. You are labeling a lot of these characters as doing especially well if awakened or with their synergies etc. If you label a character as god tier and also note that they have awesome signature abilities that should be awakened, for instance, would such a character still be god-tier in your estimation even if not awakened? Or would they be of a lower tier, and not god-tier, until their sig ability is awakened? Likewise with synergy, would characters with an S still be in that same tier even if you've none of the other characters with which to activate their synergies?

1. If Red Hulk in your Team - Heavy Attacks inflict an Incinerate that deals damage equal to that Heavy Attack’s damage over 2 second(s).
2. If Masacre in your Team - Debuffs last 1 second(s) longer. (Parry - Long stun duraion. Good on Limber node)

Here is your Answer - Keep Proxima Midnight in your team as a synergy partner. With this, Nebula will start the fight with 10 Amp Charges. This will help you in WAR to finish fight quickly. Make sure her 20 Amp Charges are ready then Parry + SP2 = 💥🔥
